Congress leader Sachin Pilot strongly criticized the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) recent raids at the residence of Rajasthan Congress Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, claiming that the BJP’s anxiety is apparent. On ‘X’ platform, he expressed his condemnation, saying, “I firmly denounce the ED raid on Rajasthan Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara. ED has also summoned Vaibhav Gehlot, the son of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The BJP’s attempts to intimidate Congress leaders won’t succeed; all state Congress leaders and workers are united in solidarity.”

Earlier today, the Enforcement Directorate conducted these raids in connection with the Senior Teacher 2nd Grade Competitive Examination, 2022 Paper Leak case.

The ED searches took place at Dotasara’s official residence in Civil Lines, Jaipur, and extended to nearly a dozen locations across Rajasthan in connection with the paper leak case. Additionally, the agency has summoned Vaibhav Gehlot, a Congress leader and the Chief Minister’s son, in relation to the paper leaks case.

This move has elicited strong reactions from Congress leaders, who perceive the agency as an extension of the BJP. Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge also criticized the BJP, stating, “As elections draw near, ED, CBI, and IT become the real ‘Panna Pramukh’ of the BJP. With the Bharatiya Janata Party sensing defeat in Rajasthan, it’s making its final move. After Chhattisgarh, ED has initiated actions against Congress leaders entering the assembly election campaign in Rajasthan.”

Kharge further criticized the Modi government’s perceived authoritarianism and vowed to continue their fight against the alleged misuse of government agencies, emphasizing that the public would respond to the BJP’s actions.
